Artistic Director

Message from the Artistic Director

I want to welcome and thank you for joining me at the start of a long anticipated journey.  A journey that I hope becomes a creative and inspirational adventure unfolding over many years to come.

I have been very fortunate, through my artistic endeavors, to have worked with people who have, through their amazing talent, commitment and generosity of spirit, inspired and challenged me.  They have challenged me to grow, not just as an artist, but also as a person.  The challenge has been to take control of my own destiny and begin this creative journey.

I have held many jobs in my lifetime including Door-to-Door Vacuum salesman, Dishwasher, Waiter, Restaurant Manager, Telemarketer, and a Direct Marketer to a Professional Oyster Shucker. My true professional passion has always been to work in the Theater.  It is in the Theater that I have developed deep relationships, which is remarkable when some shows last only a 6 week time span. These Theater people have become lifelong friends that offer me a source of endless support, encouragement and unconditional love.

As Artistic Director, I am proud to announce the beginning of an innovative production company, StreetLamp Productions.  This production company will be dedicated to bringing new, classical, and contemporary works and productions to the stage, using artists of different backgrounds, cultures ... and ages. The company’s main focus will be on performers who are 40 year-olds and beyond. It is my dream to create a company that is friendly, creative and energetic where I can showcase many talented people, including those I have worked with over the years.

I have stood on the shoulders of many people to arrive at this point in my journey.   To list them all here would be impossible.  I am forever indebted to them.  But….., I would like to take a personal moment to thank…the great and wonderful teachers I have had along the way, including:  the talented and inspiring group of fellow students from Sayville, Fredonia and Case Western Reserve; …..friends, Stephonovitch and Carolina Thomasina – whether near or far, you are a constant support and guiding light; …….and my very supportive, loving and insanely funny family...Dan and Pat, I hope you are watching….

Write something about the people who make your business go or your philosophy behind customer service.
Why? Because people want to know who they're doing business with. It's a human thing.
